I've spent the last two weeks in a summer science institute sponsored by UNLV and the Clark County School District. I learned a lot and had a lot of fun. (That doesn't mean that I didn't have to deal with really annoying people, too!!) Anyway, here's a picture of our group on our field trip. We went to the Springs Preserve and it was ridiculously hot!!

OK - the pigtails are just a nod to the fact that I moved into my apartment earlier that week and did not know where all my hair products were!!
