I survived the first week of school!! I don't remember being this tired last year. Somehow, I must have blocked it out of my mind. All I can think is "why did I become a teacher?" I'm exhausted and have no life. Anyway, I'm sure things will get better as I get used to my schedule. I went to a football game tonight to support some of my SpEd students. I have two on the varsity football team, one in the drum line and one in the band. I'm still trying to figure out how to support my one student on the cross country team, because I really don't want to go watch a race (talk about boring!). I'll have to figure something else out. Anyway, I'm still alive and kickin' down here and melting in the heat!!
